The “Checkout Address Verification” module for Magento makes an address check during the checkout in the online shop. You thereby avoid returns due to incorrect address data and reduce the running costs of your business. Parcel senders charge approximately 3.00 EUR per return to the sender. As a rule, further costs are incurred for redelivery of the goods.

This is how the address check works: When the customer leaves the shopping basket and enters his address data in the next step, our system checks in the background whether the data entered there is correct (address verification) and automatically suggests the correct address in case of incorrect entries. This happens in real time via our web service in the cloud or alternatively via an external provider that has an API.
